If you own a B2C business (meaning you sell to individual consumers) growing your Google Reviews should be relatively straightforward. You should have an automated system in place for everyone who interacts with your business to be able to leave a review. If you don’t, book a time below and I’ll help you (for free, no strings attached).
Now, if you own a B2B business, things get trickier. If you’re a Marketing Agency (like us), or an accountant, or a medical billing company then your job is a little tougher. First off you work with less individual customers, making it harder to get reviews. Secondly, there can be a much longer cycle between starting the relationship and producing results.
This doesn’t mean it’s impossible though. Just commit to sending 3-5 emails each day asking people you’ve worked with in the past to give you a 5-star review (notice I didn’t just say “review”, I specifically asked for 5 stars). Put a link to your Google review page in the email and give them some guidance on what you want them to say. Finally, offer to reciprocate with your own 5-star review, and BOOM, you’re done.
B2C businesses these days should have 100+ reviews (4 stars or higher) but B2B businesses can get away with less. Your 1 Google review from your Mom though, is not going to cut it…
